Paper trading crypto: practice before you risk money

Paper trading means placing practice trades with pretend money on real prices. It's the cheapest way to learn a desk and your own habits.

Start practice. It's free

Make practice realistic

  • Use live prices, not a replay.
  • Include fees and slippage. Aspenox practice models both.
  • Size like you would for real. Practicing with huge pretend size teaches the wrong lessons.

What to track

  • Why you entered, and whether the reason was still true when you exited.
  • Whether you followed your plan's stop.
  • How often a coin failed the safety check after you liked the chart.

Know the limits

Paper results don't feel like real money and don't predict live results. Treat practice as training, then decide calmly whether to trade live. Spot only, from your own wallet.

Aspenox is a non-custodial tool, not financial advice. Crypto is risky and meme coins can go to zero. Practice mode uses paper money. Live trades are spot only: you approve each trade in your wallet, or your Cap wallet signs within limits you set.
